  • Write a comment to the 6 Word Story
  • Read Chapters 5 and 8 in your book “Digital Diet”.  Be prepared to discuss in next class.
  • View http://www.commoncraft.com/video/project-based-learning or http://www.bie.org/videos/video/project_based_learning_explained (same video in two places).  Also view another video of choice on http://www.bie.org/videos/P0/  and post response to both in your blog.  Remember to include all requirements.
  • Write the reflection for NETS_T 5 and be prepared to discuss.  These reflections should be uploaded to  your blog.

  • Write the reflection for NETS-Teacher Standard 3 and be prepared to discuss in next class.  These reflections should be uploaded to your blog and the link to Canvas.
  • Read Chapter 6 in your textbook “The Digital Diet”.  Be prepared to discuss these chapters in the next class.
  • Briefly write about which person you found was most interesting on twitter this past week (this would be an educational person 🙂 ) in a Word document and submit to swuarnold on Google Docs.  Share the document with me as if you wanted me to edit it.
  • Read the post http://www.jointhecteam.com/PDFs/intellectual%20property.pdf  and post response in your blog and the link in Canvas.  Remember to include all requirements.
  • Create a excel spreadsheet  with student names and at least three other pieces of data.  Create a mail merge with this info.  Upload to Canvas the excel spreadsheet with the data and in a separate assignment upload the Word Mail Merge.  The data should contain at least 10 students.
  • Create a newsletter in Word with the requirements specified.  Upload it to Canvas.

  • Read and review Miss Night’s Marbles :  http://missnightmutters.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-heard-them-say-love-is-way.html .  Assignment should be uploaded to your blog . Also, place last weeks reading response on your blog.
  • Add two more educational sites to your bookmarks on www.delicious.com with descriptions and tags. 
  • Write the reflection for NETS-T Standard 2  and be prepared to discuss NETS-T Standard 2 in Class 3.  Place NETS-T Standard 1 and 2 reflections on your blog.
  • Be prepared to discuss the chapters that we did get to from Class 1
  • Create a form in Google Drive that you might use in your classroom or peers.  Share with instructor (swuarnold) on Google Docs.  Form must contain at least 7 questions and 3 different forms of questions.
  • Since I did not get to discuss the rubric  for the newsletter, I am removing this from your assignment this week. 
  • Tweet at least twice this week and read the tweets from the three educators I gave you.

  • Write a reflection and be prepared to discuss NETS-T Standard 1.   Assignment will be uploaded to blog.  This reflection should include an overview, your strengths in this area and your weaknesses.
  • Read the Introduction, Chapter 1,  Chapter 3 and 7 in your textbook “The Digital Diet”.  Be prepared to discuss these three chapters in the next class.
  • Use Word to create a quiz and save to flash drive.  Bring flash drive to next class.
